About the Board
The Alcott Center Board is composed of business and community leaders who serve voluntarily with no compensation. Members of the Board come from diverse communities and have a personal commitment to the mental health wellness of Alcott Center’s service recipients.
Each Director is elected to a two-year term and is eligible for re-election for additional two-year terms, without term limits.
Charged with oversight of the organization, the Board employs a Chief Executive Officer to oversee the day-to-day operations and partners with the Board in long-term strategic leadership and planning.
The Board meets 6 times per year and members devote their time, help write or raise money and lend their various expertise to help keep the Alcott Center providing the best-in-class mental health and residential services it has provided the Los Angeles community for over 40 years.
